A large number of the Welsh people are members also of English churches. In
Mankato thirty-nine full blooded Welsh people are members of the Presbyterian
church (four of the nine elders are Welsh); twenty-eight are members of the
Congregational church (one of its three deacons is a Welshman); fifteen are
members of the Baptist chuch. In Tracy, thirty-seven Welsh people belong to the
Presbyterian church and all four of the elders are Welsh. Most of the Welsh
people of St. Paul and Minneapolis are in English churches, but we have no
statistics for them.
